From the moment, we marched through London in 2008 — with banners held high and T-shirts bearing the names and faces of our loved ones. We’ve never stopped fighting. That day wasn’t just a protest. It was a promise. A promise that the voices of victims’ families would never be silenced again. A promise that justice would be pursued, no matter how long it takes.
Families Fighting for Justice was born out of pain, but driven by purpose. We stood then, as we still stand now, united by loss — but determined to fight for a better future.
Our mission has always been simple and clear: To make sure victims’ families are heard, supported, and never left in the dark.
The Fight for Change Continues
The world has changed since that first march, but too many things have stayed the same. Families still face injustice. Sentences still fail to reflect the value of a life lost. And many victims’ families are still navigating grief without the support they desperately need.
That’s why we’re still here.
We continue to campaign for tougher sentencing, for greater support systems, and for meaningful reform to a justice system that all too often lets families down. We are led by those who know this pain first-hand. Families who carry the weight of a life sentence that no court could ever understand.
Our Message Is Clear
- We want real deterrents put back in place.
- We want respect for human life restored in our communities and in our courts.
- We want no more families left to suffer in silence.
We haven’t stopped.
We won’t stop.
Because the fight for justice is far from over.
