As we are now into our first week of 2020 We would like to wish everyone: “A Happy & Prosperous New Year” We here at FFfJ have looked back over the years since we first began which seems like a long time ago.
Now as we do we know that the road has not been easy we have experienced so many bouts of Anger from those who carry so much pain that they struck out at the very person who was there for them who helped them in many different ways but we never crumbled.
When Jesus was crucified he said on the cross “Forgive them for they not what they Do” Over the years.
From our Founders hard work and determination in her darkest hours always thinking of others first she has received many many awards so many for recognition these awards were never once applied for.
Those who awarded her then found her because they could see with their own eyes her commitment for others who have suffered a loss from homicide. Families fighting for Justice is her legacy for her two children whose lives were taken by others on separate incidents yet Jean carried on helping and supporting others.
It isn’t about awards it isn’t about wanting them it is about who you are as a person. But those awards out way all those who’s anger she had to take. One of those awards was only the second award to have been given out in its history, Jean was the second person how amazing is that.
Jeans strength and courage is truly inspirational unique and to be admired. 2020 is going to be a big year for Families Fighting for Justice and for OLLY.
You don’t have to apply for Awards they find you.
