Today, 28th April, Jean Taylor, founder of Families Fighting for Justice, is in Westminster continuing the fight to give victims’ families a stronger voice.
At the heart of this visit is the ongoing campaign for Chantel’s Law — a proposed change in legislation that would ensure those responsible for the dismemberment and concealment of a victim’s body receive a fixed sentence, rather than this being left to judicial discretion as an aggravating factor.
This is a long and challenging campaign, but one that highlights a deeply important issue within the justice system.
Families Fighting for Justice continues to stand alongside victims’ families, pushing for accountability, fairness, and meaningful change.
Chantel’s Law is a law much needed.
