Handing in the Petition for Chantel’s Law Today

petition 10 downing street

Today at 15:00, our founder, Jean Taylor, will deliver a petition to No. 10 Downing Street in support of Chantel’s Law, a vital step towards addressing the gaps in the justice system that continue to fail victims and their families.

This petition reflects the voices and stories of countless families who have experienced firsthand the devastating impact of these gaps. Chantel’s Law is a campaign for reform—aiming to ensure that victims of crime, and their loved ones, receive the protection, respect, and justice they deserve.

Chantel’s Law is named in honour of Chantel, whose family has fought tirelessly to raise awareness of the shortcomings within our legal system. Her story, like so many others, is a powerful reminder of why change is urgently needed.

By delivering this petition today, we stand united with all the families who have been impacted, advocating for reforms that prioritise victims’ rights and make justice truly accessible to all.
