Every Wednesday, Families Fighting for Justice offers peer support for anyone affected by the loss of a loved one. These sessions take place weekly from 10am to 2pm and are open to those who need support, understanding, and a safe space to talk.
Our peer support sessions are led by people who understand what it feels like to be navigating grief, trauma, and the difficult journey that can follow. Whether you are facing ongoing investigations, inquests, court hearings, or simply trying to cope day-to-day, you do not have to do it alone.
Group support or 1-to-1 – your choice
On Wednesdays, support is available in a way that feels right for you:
- Group setting: A supportive space to talk, listen, and connect with others who understand.
- 1-to-1 support: If you would prefer a private chat, we can support you on a one-to-one basis.
A safe space with no pressure
There is no expectation to speak. Some people come along just to sit quietly, have a cuppa, and be around others who understand. Others want to talk about what they are currently facing grief, anger, anxiety, exhaustion, or the impact of justice processes.
However you arrive, you’ll be met with care and understanding. Our aim is simple: to ensure that bereaved families feel supported, heard, and never alone.
When to come
Every Wednesday
10:00am – 2:00pm
If you need support, please come along. Families Fighting for Justice is here for you, and we never forget.
