THE LEWIS DUNNE FOUNDATION
This lovely mosaic was sent to us by Lewis’s lovely father Stephen. The words are so so true and so fitting to the loveliest boy whose life was snatched away. Lewis had a promising career and was a lovely, kind and gentle boy. May he forever rest in eternal peace.
Stephen who did a half marathon to fundraise not only for his lovely son’s Foundation, but we also shared those funds with OLLY. Our founder Jean Taylor who has been supporting Stephen along his journey decided to use those funds to distribute lunches to children within families of homicide. This is what spurred OLLY On to continue to try and deliver lunches to so many children. We applied for funding and received some to enable us to do so up till now we have delivered over 1,000 lunches to children and 400 chicken dinners so families can sit around a table on Sunday’s and have a roast dinner together, simple things that we take for granted unless of course you have lost a child or loved on the homicide you will never understand how much of a luxury to be able to do that around the table has become. So, from Stephen’s kind generous heart, through his son’s foundation this is what started OLLY off in delivering lunches.
