Volunteering Opportunities – Media & Marketing

Any student studying Media and Marketing will already understand the value of getting recognised out there and promoting your business or charity. These people will hold one of the vital roles within our charity, this would include posting tweets, updating our Facebook pages, LinkedIn and Instagram. Also, to look into our websites to see if there are any ideas how we can put up a ‘what’s on guide’ also for any ideas for promoting the charity as a whole.

Any students interested in this placement will have their own computer station to work from, we always encourage collaborative working and sharing ideas with other students on placement in the office.

There is no dress code just wear what you feel comfortable in.

Our placement students start at 10am until normally 3pm. If you would rather bring a packed lunch and drink please do so as we have a fridge in the office, a toaster and kettle are also provided, or there is a three-minute walk to Tesco, Subway, café and chippy.

All our placements sign a confidentially and data protection agreement adhering to all the rules and regulations of the act. We understand with working with students on placement here for some years now that we work around the students when they are available to attend. It is a friendly environment, working together without discrimination or prejudice, we value the input the students give us within our charity enabling us to move forward and to get us recognised out there for those who may need our support.
